Dabeli is one of most delicious recipe i ever eat. Today i made dabeli by Maharashtrian style. This is mouth watering recipe. made with boil potatoes, onion, tomatoes, garlic red chilly chutney and tamarind chutney.
Most easy and simple recipe all ingredient you can buy in grocery store or you can made by yourself. For making garlic-red chilly chutney, soak red chilies in water for one hours then add some garlic and salt in that and grind it in grinder. For making tamarind chutney, take tamarind and dates (khajur) in same quantity soak it for hours, grind it add cumin -coriander powder, salt to taste and grind it again strain it with strainer.
you can also make spicy peanut at home take little bit oil roast peanuts and add salt and red chilly powder.

Ingredients
- • 1 and ½ cup boil smashed potatoes
- • 1 cup onion
- • 1 cup tomatoes
- • 1 tbsp pav bhaji masala + red chili powder (instead of dabeli masala)
- • 1 tbsp lemon juice
- • ¾ tbsp sugar
- • ¼ cup spicy peanuts,
- • 1 cup fine shev
- • ¼ cup pomegranates,
- • 3 tbsp butter
- • ¼ cup sweet tamarind and dates chutney
- • ¼ cup red chili and garlic chutney
- • Bread buns (pav)
- • ¼ cup coconut grated
- • ¼ cup coriander
- • Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat up 1 tbsp of butter in kadhai or pan. Add onion and saute until it becomes golden brown in color.
- Now add tomatoes. Stir tomatoes until it melt.
- Add 1 tbsp red chilly powder, 1 tbsp pavbhaji masala, 3/4 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp lemon juice and salt to taste.
- Add smashed potatoes stir all things together very well.
- Now take dish, transfer all mixture in plate and spread it
- Start to sprinkle grated coconut, coriander, pomegranates pearls, spicy peanuts, onion, black grapes and finally fine shev our stuffing is ready.
- Slit the pavs horizontally without cutting through ( L shape)
- Place pav on hot tawa. Press slightly and toast from both side with butter.
- Now take pav and start spread tamarind -dates sweet chutney, then garlic red chilly chutney, add a layer of stuffing and finally chopped onion shev coriander, peanut.
- Dabeli is ready.
